Now, let’s quickly jump to the steps of How to give access to the Facebook page to an agency.

Setting up a Business Manager Account associated with a Facebook Ads account:

Well, we will go this as this is the simplest way by which you can safely give access to your Facebook page to an agency.

Just check if you have a Business Manager account linked with your Ad account. This is a must because, with the help of a Business Manager account, you can easily manage all your advertising, pages from a single tool.

  • Lastly, add your Facebook Ad account name in the search box below.

That’s all. You have created a Business Manager account. Now, let’s see the main content of this post.

How to Assign Partners on a Business Manager account?

  • In the top right corner of business.facebook.com Business Manager page, you will see Business Settings. Simply, click on that.
  • After that, click on Ad Accounts to assign a partner.
  • Simply select the account to which you want to assign the page.
  • Now, click on Assign Partner. You will see a pop-up.
  • Enter all the details of the partner.
For agency access, you may want to select Admin as the role.
  • Once you have assigned the role, you will receive a link that you have to share with the partner so that they can access the page.

How to provide access to your page to the agency/partner?

  • Again, click on Business Settings.
  • Now, click on Pages from the settings menu.
  • Click on Assign Partner.
  • Again you need to fill in your partner’s details as you did in the Assigning Partner steps.
  • Once you have assigned the role, you will receive a link that you have to share with the partner so that they can access the page.

There might be a case; you need to remove third party access from the page. You can check the following step by step guide.

How to revoke access?

  1. Click on Business Settings.
  2. Click on Users.
  3. Click on Partners.
  4. Now, select the name of the partner you want to remove.
  5. Click on Remove.

Safety measures to consider while giving access to the third party and assigning a specific role:

  1. Think twice before assigning the role of ADMIN to a partner. You can also change the role of a partner later if you have decided that.
  2. Never accept requests from the unknown person. It is kind of obvious as this may lead to misuse of your page/account.
  3. No third party can help you in getting verified on Facebook. Facebook says that if someone is giving assurance that he can get your page verified by Facebook, then it is totally scam.

I hope this guide helps you in clearly understanding all the steps involved in giving access to the agency.
